What you’ll do Group Communications & Infrastructure The Cyber Security Department at Sky is responsible for creating a cyber-resilient business which is capable of detecting, responding, and recovering from threats to our organisation at pace. We have a requirement for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our teams providing you with the opportunity to advance your career in a high-reaching environment. This role could be your pathway into cyber security with multiple avenues to grow and progress. You will be able to perform an end-to-end threat model, using the STRIDE methodology, independently of any help. This means to coordinate, perform, document, and follow up on the threat models taking place. Support external departments by providing early review of security implications and making vital recommendations. Proficient in managing your workload independently while taking ownership of your development pathway alongside your line manager and colleagues. Engage with cyber stakeholders, the wider business, and external entities to facilitate and support the delivery of cyber services and initiatives. Always look to improve you understand and knowledge of the following. Regulatory requirements in our business. TSA, PCI, SWIFT, GDPR as well as Architectural domains. DLP, CLOUD, IDAM, LOGGING & MONITORING . Departments and their verticals. CONTENT, CUSTOMER, ISP, PRODUCT, What you’ll bring Live the Sky Values and demonstrate passion and a can-do attitude. Demonstrate a passion for cyber security and have a positive outlook and approach to the work we do. Previous experience working within a security field or related team. Can be substituted for a relevant degree or equivalent qualification or completion of the Sky Cyber Graduate Scheme. Demonstrated ability in analytical, decision making, verbal and written communication capabilities. Excellent teamwork skills to ensure we all collaborate, share, and support one another.
