The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Project Engineer to join our dedicated, highly experienced team in Liverpool to work on a prestigious new stadium being constructed.
Enterprise Solutions, part of Crown House Technologies, is a leading construction and infrastructure technology services provider, supplying a complete Building Services package with communications, ICT, intelligent building monitoring, BMS and the UK's largest MEP Manufacturing facility, a 129,000 sq ft factory offering off-site manufacturing and assembly for its digitally engineered modular MEICA packages.
Our team's expertise in system integration provides effective and dynamic solutions to end-users utilising open protocols, with a suite of solutions and products that can be integrated with any open protocol system to provide a seamless path for integrating past, present and future building environments.
What will the role look like?
- Reporting to the Project Lead the role will entail providing effective engineering of the Enterprise Solutions Security systems on the project– particularly around project delivery, controls, quality and successful handover.
- Be able to communicate and provide technical guidance. Hold regular meetings or discussion with all staff – operatives. Must be able to negotiate with staff, sub-contractors and clients
- Producing work method statements, risk assessments and all types of project reports
- Produce value engineering recommendations to improve performance/productivity, whilst always ensuring specifications and employer's requirements are fully met.
- To ensure compliance with the controls in place for monitoring, reporting, and improving performance.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Able to demonstrate effective client relationship skills and the ability to enhance the business
- Able to demonstrate successful project delivery with experience in previous roles
- Working Knowledge of current H&S Legislation, Security Standards e.g. BSEN, NSI codes etc.
- Recognised Technical / Professional qualification e.g. C+G, HND,HNC or other security system qualifications.
- Proven experience of large Enterprise scale Electronic security systems and configuration of front end VSS (such as Milestone) Intruder (such as Galaxy) and Access control programming.
- Will have a good understanding of IP networks.
- Excellent IT skills and in depth use of the Microsoft suite of software packages
- Full understanding of IP CCTV, IP Based Access control systems and Intruder Alarms and proven experience in both the installation and commissioning of these systems
- Understanding of engineering requirements and risk mitigation around the installation and support of Extra Low Voltage Systems.
