We're currently seeking a Logistics/Communications Manager to join our team and take on the exciting responsibility of managing our logistics team. In this role, you'll have the chance to oversee a variety of crucial services across our Trust, including Portering, Security, Linen, Non-Patient Transport, and Waste services.
But that's not all - as Logistics/Communications Manager, you'll also be tasked with constantly seeking out ways to improve efficiency, exceed client expectations, and elevate service levels to new heights.
You'll have direct responsibility for ensuring that our high-quality service standards are met and maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations at the orthopaedic site
- Maintain a secure and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the site
- Maintain records of health and safety documents
- Plan and manage budgets for the site
- Negotiate key performance indicators (KPIs) with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, and external stakeholders
Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
- Good Problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Health and Safety qualification IOSH/NEBOSH
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Good user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word & Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills/ ability to motivate
- Good levels of numeracy with an ability to understand and construct budgets
- Experience in managing large workforce
