Ty Cariad is located close to the historic market town of Abergele. We are progressing at an extremely dynamic pace and remain trusted supporters to our residents, families, friends and team members.
Ty Cariad is home to 48 residents who reside in four individual personalised households. Each household has a home from home atmosphere and welcoming team. As a member of our Domestic team you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care centre, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times.
Where you’ll work: As Domestic Assistant you’ll work along us in our continued efforts to make life better for our residents. You’ll receive training to competently fulfil your role as Domestic Assistant to support our residents to fulfil their retirement years in a simulating and homely environment here at Ty Cariad nursing home, located in Cae Eithin, Abergele.

What you’ll be doing:
- General cleaning around the home (e.g. floors, rooms, furniture etc...)
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required
- Adhere to the care home’s disposal of waste policy.
- Report immediately to the Home Manager or the person in charge, any accident incurred by a service user, colleague, self or another.
- Report to the Home Manager or the Handyperson any faulty appliances, damaged furniture/equipment of any potential hazards.
