Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer & Receptionist to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client’s site based in St Albans.
The role requires the candidate to cover the reception desk each morning out-of-hours and provide security duties such as locking up, unlocking, patrolling overnight whilst the site is closed.
This is a corporate office environment with on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide a welcoming and friendly front-of-house service to all staff, visitors, and contractors entering and exiting the building.
- Ensuring all visitors are signed in as per site security requirements.
- To provide a proactive in front of house service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained. For example, booking taxis, booking meeting rooms or providing additional information.
- To assist visitors, staff, and contractors with queries and offer additional assistance as required.
- Carrying out administrative tasks and duties as required.
About You:
- Efficient and punctual.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is essential.
- Excellent customer service, organisation, verbal, and written skills.
- Able to prioritise effectively.
- SIA badge.
