The Role – Security Guard x 42 hours AM Services Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Security Team at our client’s premiere retail destinations located in the heart of the Middlesbrough town centre. This is a Full time Permanent role of 42 hours per week The suitable person would need to work 8hr shifts 5/7 days (including weekends on rota) between 6.30am to 7.30pm. With the option of gaining overtime to cover holidays and sickness Duties/Key Responsibilities To provide professional security services to our client, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and their assets. You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team Complete daily security tasks, including the use of client software and security CCTV systems in the control room Carry out routine patrols on site Locking and unlocking of the shopping centre Assist in deterring crime within the centre Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty Liaison with local authorities including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency To carry out weekly Fire alarm testing Operating telephone switchboard Carry out any reasonable task requested by the client or Manager, if you are trained to do so. Work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that AM Support Services offers exceptional customer service at the highest standards Skills Required Valid SIA Front Line Licence CCTV Experience preferred 1ST Aid at Work Cert preferred but not essential Full 5-year UK checkable work history You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
