We are looking for a talented individual to join our practice in The Mount to cover both Reception and administrative tasks.

A typical day in this role would include:

  • Receiving and triaging patient calls
  • Booking in appointments for patients
  • Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently
  • Manage all enquires in an effective manner
  • Action all incoming emails
  • Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patient’s healthcare records using the photocopier machine.
  • Input data into the patient’s healthcare records as necessary
  • Manage all administrative queries as necessary
  • Carry out system searches as requested
  • Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested

Previous experience in Primary Care (GP) is essential along with resilience and a 'can do' attitude. The successful candidate must be flexible to cover additional hours as required by the needs of the surgery and be happy to work between 7:45 and 18:30 on a rota basis.

We are offering between £10.42 and the hours will be up to 35 per week.

We are specifically looking for cover on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Additional hours will be available to cover for annual leave etc. Also, you would be required to work Saturdays when we run Flu clinics - again on a rota basis.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
