Job description
A great opportunity is currently available within the Unipart Logistics Security Department for a Licensed Security Officer to join our award winning in-house team in Honeybourne, near Evesham.
Successful applicants will be guaranteed a minimum of 48 hours per week (providing a basic annual salary of £28,279.68) and work a rotational shift pattern of days, nights & weekends.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Provide a courteous, professional and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, their representatives and visitors to the company.
- Provide security for 'People, Product & Property' at all times.
- Conduct regular searches of site staff, contractors and/or visitors.
- Conduct regular internal and external site patrols.
- Conduct gatehouse duties – seal checks, booking vehicles in/out on PC, vehicle searches, communicating site rules to drivers.
- Reporting of incidents and completing relevant reports
- Report any H&S breaches and/or concerns.
- CCTV monitoring and footage reviews / investigations.
- Assist with fire alarm tests and site evacuations.
- Respond to fire and/or intruder alarms where required.
- Issue and control staff and visitor access cards.
- Meet the requirements of the site Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential requirements for this role are:
- A valid SIA license.
- A 5-year checkable history.
