Job description
As a Security Officer for one of our Data Center, you will be part of Security Operations teams responsible for ensuring the security of our Data Center sites, Clients, Visitors and NTT GDC EMEA colleagues by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. You will prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures to ensure the security of the facility and the safety of all visitors and employees. You will be required to work on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, days and nights including weekends. Each shift is 12 hours long. The Day shift is from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm and the night shift is from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Your Responsibilties Managing access control procedures to ensure only authorised personnel are permitted into the building or other specific areasIssue passes and collecting relevant IDMonitor of CCTVAssist in fire drills and alarmsEnsuring Health and Safety rules are always adhered toReception dutiesAssist the Security Manager/Deputy Manager where applicableAny other activities reasonably required for the day-to-day operation of the Company Your Profile Hold a valid Front-Line SIA LicenceBe able to work on a 12 hour rolling shift rota, 4 days and 4 nights including week-ends and public holidays Communicate effectively at all levels and possess good relationship building skillsPossess initiative with an inquisitive nature, good observations skills, unafraid to ask appropriate questions Possess a clean full driving licence valid for use in the UKTo undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019
