Security officer job descriptionKN Security services is a bespoke security company operating in the heart of the city of London from 2016. Our clients include luxury and high-profile hotels in London. In 2022 we have experienced a period of growth and as a result we are looking to expand our trusted team of SIA Licensed Door Supervisors and Security Guards.JOB DESCRIPTION:· Arrive 15 minutes before start of the shift for briefing.· Communicate well, clearly and concisely· Always maintain politeness and professionalism· Follow and maintain the Assignment Instructions according to the needs and requirements of the client· Have good report writing skillsPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Position of key responsibility to ensure security of premises and staff and to preserve stock integrity.· Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure doors, windows and gates are secure.· Answer alarms and investigate disturbances· Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors and delivery vehicles.· Guard against theft and maintain security of premises, including the movement of stock in and out of the building· Conduct and log random searches· Update Security Log with activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences· Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorised persons· Circulate among visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property· Warn the relevant authorities of rule infractions or violations or evict violators from premises· Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas, including operating the CCTV system in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.· Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.REQUIREMENTS:We have a requirement of Security Officers, for one of our sites located in West London, and we are looking for someone who could start immediately.· SIA Door Supervisor Front-line license including First Aid at Work.· Good communication skills.· Uniform: a neat and professional appearance, hair and beard neatly maintained. Black suit, pressed and ironed white shirt, polished black shoes.
