About The Role Position: Security Officer Pay: £10.90 - £12.22 Location: Liverpool (L15) Schedule: Full-Time and Ad-Hoc Hours Available Contract Type: Permanent Zero Hours Contract FGH Security is looking for experienced and professional Security Officers to join our team in Keeping People Safe. Our client is a large manufacturer, you will be working in a large industrial site. The ideal candidate should be: Highly trained Have great customer service skills Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Astute report writer Proactive Proud in a smart appearance with impeccable personal presentation Motivated Able to deal with different situations Show maturity and reasoned decision making Your main duties will include: Maintain site PPE (Radios, Body Cams, Pagers) Maintain a high level of vigilance throughout the shift Actively patrolling and monitoring security cameras to ensure the safety of all visitors and team Engage and assist with escorting unwelcome guests from the site Looking out for abnormalities around the site Reporting any observation or actions to site management and documenting appropriately Protection of assets/loss prevention Protect sites from theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities Respond promptly to any security issues Implement and enforce security policies and procedures. Handle difficult visitors in a calm and professional manner. Report any suspicious behaviour or activity to the appropriate authorities Maintain accurate records of incidents and provide detailed reports to management. Liaising with internal stakeholders During screening you must be able to provide evidence of 5 year employment/education history and references in a timely manner upon request.
