Overview: Distribution security officer position, 12 hour DAY SHIFT

**Who Are We Seeking?***
We have a prime opportunity for a dedicated Security Officer position at a client’s distribution site located in Middleton's Stakehill Industrial Estate. It is a permanent, enjoyable and desirable role working within a team on the day shift.
**Position Highlights:**
- Full-time and permanent
- Day shifts 0700 - 1900
- 4 on 4 off day shift pattern
- Average of 42 hours per week
- Overtime available
**What You'll Bring:**

- Ability to read, understand and follow instruction
- Skills: Computer familiarity to operate CCTV, online forms and the use of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safeguarding people, property, and premises
- Monitoring and controlling site access
- Conducting random staff searches
- Vigilant patrolling inside and outside of premises
- Overseeing CCTV operations
- Documenting and reporting incidents
**Essentials We Expect:**
- An unbroken 5-year work or education history
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role is preferred
- (Desirable) A full UK driving license and your own transportation
- Clear and articulate communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Passionate ownership of your responsibilities
- Team spirit, ready to step in when needed
