Job descriptionBold Security Ltd is looking for a full-time Security Officer to join our team in Manchester.Job Responsibilities:Perform a variety of duties as assigned.Patrol property and monitor premises to ensure security.Monitor surveillance equipment to identify unauthorized use or access.Respond to emergency alarms and investigate incidents.Determine the necessity of doors and windows for emergency response.Perform routine patrols of grounds and buildings.Monitor access to grounds and buildings.Remove unauthorized persons from premises.Provide assistance to law enforcement or emergency personnel as necessary.Follow procedures for entry and exit of vehicles; secure vehicles at appropriate locations; prevent vandalism; prevent theft; secure all security equipment from vandalism; maintain equipment in good condition.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.One year of experience as a security officer required.Valid Guard Card required.Ability to operate walkie-talkie, cell phone, telescopes, etc.. with knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.Ability to read a map, compass and survey.Ability to write simple simple reports & correspondence.Job Types: Zero hours contract, Temp to perm, Permanent, Part-time, Full-timeContract length: 3 monthsPart-time hours: 20 per weekSalary: £12.00-£14.91 per hourBenefits:FlexitimeReferral programmeStore discountSchedule:Day shiftEvery weekendFlexitimeMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:Loyalty bonusSafety bonusYearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Licence/Certification:SIA (preferred)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (preferred)Work Location: In person
