£13.46 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service professional for the position of Security Officer at our Aspers Westfield Stratford City site.

Aspers Security Officers are accountable for the delivery of exceptional customer service and minimising risk. Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrates department operation through compliant checklist responses.
• Carries out expected role duties appointed for shift.
• Liaises with Duty Managers and appointed security management personnel on duty in relation to all reactive security incidents.
• Shows knowledge of key role functions that support the security department during shift.
• Uses initiative in proactively escalating and communicating risks.
• Demonstrates crowd control awareness;
• Listens to direction and support.
• Attends pre-shift meetings.
• Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team;
• Fosters and demonstrates a communication style that is conducive to a positive employee satisfaction environment.
• Shows the ability to identify potential risk;
• Focused on minimising risk to employees; patrons and Company assets and reputation.
• Understanding and support shown for the H&S functionality of the site

Selection Criteria (Essential)

• Valid SIA Doors Supervisor License holder.
• A minimum of 2 years security officer experience.
• Excellent understanding of compliance and security issues.
• Knowledge of SIA legislative requirements.
• Understanding of importance and value of customer service standards.
• Customer Focused.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Is a team player.
• Articulate & Confident communicator.
• Practical working experience within a 24/7 high volume fast paced environment
