We are recruiting for an Onboarding Assistant to join our busy Human Resources Team.
This is a full-time 37 hours per week open-ended position. Consideration will also be given for the right person, for the post to be available via an apprenticeship route. Should an apprentice be appointed to this position, then the salary for this post will be reletive to the current apprentice wage.
You will be working in a friendly, collaborative team environment. Under the guidance of the Onboarding Team Leader, you will ensure that all relevant pre-employment checks for new recruits have been satisfactorily completed prior to their commencement of employment. You will also assist the Team Leader in the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) renewal process for our existing employees. You will fully utilise the electronic systems in place for this role as a method of communication and for audit purposes.
We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills, who is able to demonstrate attention to detail, and superb organisational skills. You will need to be computer literate with an ECDL qualification or equivalent to demonstrate competence in the use of MS Office packages.
