Seasonal Warehouse & Logistics Assistant

The Role
Our Food & Beverage Warehouse & Logistics Assistants undertake a variety of warehouse duties. This includes maintaining high internal customer satisfaction levels through excellence in identifying, receiving and ensuring quality of products delivered to and across site. Carrying out warehousing activities, you will be organising storage and inventory space while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all incoming and outgoing stock. You will place all stock orders, receipt and invoice match via our stock management system whilst ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times.
Our Food & Beverage outlets at the zoo include fast-food restaurants, coffee shops, kiosks and concession stands which are your key internal customers who you will be working with on a daily
basis.
The Package
- Seasonal contract, starting 3 April, until 3 September 2023
- Rate of pay of £10.49 per hour regardless of age
- Working on a rota basis, between 8 and 40 hours per wee
- Annual leave which accrues based on hours of work

- Potential of free bus travel available from Chester and Ellesmere Port train stations
Our Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence - this is essential for the role
- A good knowledge of Food & Beverage food safety requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of warehouse software application packages and Microsoft Office proficiency with previous experience of stock ordering and invoicing
- Excellent standard of literacy and numeracy
- Experience of manual handing and lifting heavy loads
- Experience of working within a fast paced Food & Beverage environment, as well as experience of cash handling and using EPOS systems would be advantageous.
