JOB POSTING SEASONAL MERCHANDISER

Position: Seasonal Merchandiser

Employment: Seasonal (March-June)

Schedule: Weekdays (Monday-Friday)

Hours Per Week: 20+ Hours

Hourly Pay Rate: $17-$19

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Merchandisers will work in assigned Home Depot stores during peak selling seasons

• Servicing product home locations, building and stocking displays, and cleaning products
• Managing inventories, meeting with store management, and helping to answer general gardening questions for store personnel and consumers
• Assisting customers with their soil selection
• Promote Kellogg branded products

Job Requirements:

• Outdoor work environment
• Ability to proactively and effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. or more consistently
• Must have a personal smartphone (Android 4.0 and up or iPhone 9.0 or later) with data
• Reliable vehicle
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of car insurance
• Clean driving record

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years previous sales or retail experience preferred
• Garden experience is preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
