TechWorks brings Deloitte’s global expertise and capabilities to clients in the South West and Wales.
A technology hub based in Bristol with a dedicated collaboration space, our local team of 70 technologists, systems engineers and digital experts work with clients to find and build solutions.
For this role, you will be part of the TechWorks Delivery Draft, a community of delivery-orientated experts to support you and your practice.

As a Scrum master we seek you to set out the clear structure of the ceremonies and lead the teams to live and breathe the 3 pillars of scrum: Transparency, Inspection, Adaption. You will foster a trusting and psychological safe environment to ensure that team succeed together. You’ll successfully orchestrate the delivery and running of products throughout their lifecycle uniting people and processes to ensure solutions meet business need.
As a Scrum master we’d like you to:
- Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Take responsibility for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
- Work with Scrum Teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making
- Use Scrum method to gets teams to a high performing level and enable change where required to produce consistently high performing delivery teams
- Coach Scrum Teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers
Connect to your skills and professional experience
Essential:
- Holds UK security clearance to Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) level.
- Certified Scrum Master trainer, or with proven experience in a Scrum Master role
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience of working in an agile environment.
- Strong hybrid working and online working style
- Strong MS Office skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience of working with the UK Public Sector.
- Cleared for working on public sector engagements

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm. The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process.
