Scrum Master

As a Barclays Scrum Master you will be responsible for the day to day activities of a Chat feature team to ensure each sprint is successfully managed from a time and quality perspective. Daily calls and management, sprint planning and sprint retrospective reviews are just some of the responsibilities.

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
Hybrid Working

What will you be doing?
• Leading an agile feature team to deliver business value in a timely manner and utilising agile scrums
- Running the daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement and showcase sessions
- Using continuous improvement techniques, tools and metrics to measure productivity and quality
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal business stakeholders, product owners, designers, Solution Architecture teams, test manager and release managers
What we’re looking for
• Strong Project Management skills (e.g. Planning, RAIDs, Stakeholder Management)
- Understanding of Agile, Kanban, Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to drive and facilitate workshops, working groups and forums with cross-functional people across the board
- Proven experience of operating in a matrix management framework
Skills that will help you in the role
• Excellent communication skills and track record of strong people leadership
- Experience with multi-channel digital deliveries across iOS, Android and Web and Public Cloud development, particularly AWS
- Proven track record of managing multi-functional project teams to deliver change
- Good knowledge of Change Management Principles
