School Ready Engagement Officer – Ref: CH00223
Fixed term for 1 year (West) and fixed tern for 2 years(East)
Salary G6 £25,878 - £30,151 per annum
Walsall Early Help Service has 2 fixed term full-time positions within the Early Help East and West Teams We are interested in: • Enthusiastic applicants who are experienced in working with children and families. • Applicants who are passionate about working with children and families early on, and those that have experience of working with the ‘not yet reached family’. • Experience in Early Years would be beneficial including applications from those who have or who are providing early year’s family support and early interventions within and around community focused environments. For this role, you will work as part of a multi- disciplinary team targeting family support and inclusion, providing specialist intervention for families with complex needs, striving for excellence within the Early Help Team from a universal focus. The ideal applicants will be passionate and enthusiastic about safeguarding babies and children and should have experience of working with families in the community in a variety of settings, including early interventions supporting babies and preschool age children to become school ready. As well as a professional approach, you should have experience of working with children, young people, parents and carers and demonstrate the ability to work closely and cooperatively with colleagues. Applicants will need to have good communication skills, together with a willingness to extend their knowledge and skills.
