Part time 18.38 hours per week
Band 6 - Salary Range £37,831 - £46,100 per annum
Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 per annum (pro rata)
Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available
The school nursing team in Shetland are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. Working across the whole of the Shetland Islands, you will play a key part in the delivery of the refocused school nursing role, as well as supporting health screenings and immunisation delivery.
Applicants should be a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of two years post registration experience and have a SCPHN qualification or have relevant experience working in a similar role.
As an experienced nurse, you will work in partnership with other professionals to improve the health and wellbeing of school aged children and young people, across the NHS Shetland locality, ensuring they are able to reach their full potential. An understanding of child protection policies and procedures are essential.
