Job Reference: 556322_1689254720 To lead the sales and commercial team for the brand, focussing activity to profitably grow the customer base by securing additional market share. The Sales Director is the market facing champion for the brand, promoting the business to stockists, buying groups and end users. The Sales Director will need to operate strategically to ensure long-term success, but be competent and comfortable driving performance with the team on a day to day basis. To provide strong leadership to the sales team and Commercial Manager (8 reports) ensuring annual budgets, targets and customer satisfaction KPIs are met and exceeded. Coach, develop and monitor the sales team to be the best they can be. Ensure the approach is tailored to the individuals whilst maintaining a focus on building a high performing sales team that can 'win in the market'. Ensure the sales process from lead to win is fit for purpose, used effectively and sales KPIs reported in clear way. Provide clear direction and support to the Commercial Manager to ensure reporting, budgeting, price management and other key commercial activity is completed in a timely and accurate manner. To own the senior level engagement with key customers, ensuring relationships at different levels and across different functions are in place and adding value. Represent key industry events, e.g. Buying Group events, trade shows and stockist trade days. Identify industry trends and customer needs in regard to the range offered. Any additions or changes to feed into the new product development process. Continue to develop the Approved Installer scheme to build end user connections with the brand helping to drive business to national network of stockists. Be the champion of great customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, whilst working closely with colleagues in Operations to ensure the cost to serve is appropriate. Continually assess and instigate relevant actions with the Divisional Marketing team in regards to the effectiveness of Kestrel's website, point of sale materials, social media presence and other marketing related materials to help retain existing business and secure new opportunities. Working closely with the Group's Distribution MD, ensure the sales team identify, support and develop sales opportunities in a collaborative manner.
