About the Role

This is an exciting time to join our growing Marketing Team, Nottingham School of Art & Design has launched a new Design and Digital Arts portfolio that will be taught within a brand new building opening in 2024, placing Nottingham as a UK hub for film, television, animation, UX, games art, graphic design and more.

Key aspects of the role will be digital content creation including writing engaging web, email and social media copy, development of digital assets, video and photography, and ongoing website updates. Strong communication skills and a good eye for detail are vital as you will be responsible for ensuring that marketing activities communicate a consistent message, meet brand guidelines, and adopt the appropriate tone of voice for diverse audiences.

You will be working closely with colleagues across NTU to plan and deliver a series of events to celebrate the launch of D&DA, engaging a range of stakeholders including staff, current and prospective students, alumni and industry partners. With this in mind, you will be able to work effectively in a team and independently, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders across the institution and externally.

You should hold a degree (or equivalent) and possess a broad range of marketing skills and experience. A marketing qualification or a commitment to working towards one is desirable.

We are looking for a creative Marketing Officer to lead on the operational delivery of marketing and communications activity, building awareness of D&DA across a range of audiences. This is an 18-month fixed term role, to deliver marketing activity leading up to and following the building opening in Spring 2024.
