The Role
The College Accommodation Office invites applicants for the role of Accommodation Office Assistant. The successful applicant will assist in day-to day administrative tasks to support the Accommodation Manager for a fixed term during the busy summer period mid-July to early October.
- This is a part-time, fixed term contract, working 25 hours per week for 12 weeks
- The salary for the position is £10.73 per hour
- Annual leave will be based on the equivalent of 33 days per year, pro-rated
- Please note annual leave will not be permitted 21st August – 3rd September and 2nd – 6th October inclusive
- Accommodation is not provided as part of this role
- Candidates must be available from the 17th July to the 6th October
- Training will be provided

The Accommodation office has responsibility for the College’s accommodation management and allocation of rooms; it works collaboratively with various departments to ensure a positive and professionally managed experience for all.
The College
Gonville & Caius College is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge. It is an educational charity, and its mission is to provide a place of education, religion, learning and research, in conjunction with a University that is recognised internationally as being of the highest standard.
The College is an academic community comprising some 530 undergraduate students, 250 graduate students, and 110 Fellows (lecturers, professors and other senior academic researchers and teachers) and almost 200 staff.
