Job description
Note to applicants: experience supporting education customers or working in an education setting is very much preferred, however applicants from all client-facing backgrounds in IT support are welcome.
Are you passionate about helping people make the most of IT? Do you seek flexibility in a role that grows with you, supporting the latest cloud technologies?
Due to continued expansion, we’re seeking a proactive ICT Field Support Engineer / ICT Technician to join our friendly team, providing on-site and remote support to our schools in Cornwall.
We’re iCT4 and we’re transforming the classroom through technology - supporting schools with their ICT challenges and offering technical solutions via our industry-leading range of services designed for education.
You’ll be comfortable and conversant with the latest technologies and cloud solutions such as Microsoft/Office 365, Google Workplace and ideally Azure. You'll possess excellent organization, communication skills and determination, as well as weapons-grade troubleshooting skills. Your time will be spent out in our schools working to ensure their tech is safe, reliable and delivering maximum impact, both inside and out of the classroom.
Our Engineers aren't simply about 'the fix' - we work as an extension of our schools' teams, partnering with them to realise the many benefits of well-managed ICT.
We’re partners with and resellers of the leading vendors in IT (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, Google and Apple), so knowledge of these technical stacks would be advantageous but not essential.
