About us

If you are looking for a dynamic, fast paced role in a bustling team, then we have the perfect role for you! An exciting, opportunity has arisen for an Online Booking Agent to join our vibrant team based in Croydon.

The first point of contact for all customers who have submitted a digital lead, our Booking Agent take initial ownership of all enquiries and help customers to book an appointment or test drive at their chosen dealership.

Working across 5 leading automotive brands including, Nissan, Hyundai, MG, Renault and Dacia, you are sure to liaise with a broad range of customers and develop a deep knowledge of the latest trends in the automotive industry.

This is a full-time office-based role which will involve working alternate Saturdays.

Providing the best customer service whilst giving the customer all the information they may need to make a decision on buying the right car for them is our top priority with this role.

Ancaster is an AM100 company and currently has 12 sites across London and the South East spanning five brands. About You

  • You will be passionate about customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will need to be comfortable gathering customer data and able to present offers and figures in a competent manner.
  • You will definitely have the ability to easily build rapport with customers and be able to identify their needs.
  • You will also have the ability to develop an in-depth knowledge of all Ancaster brands, offers and additional products.
  • You will be objective driven and focused.
  • You may have previous experience in either the motor trade, customer services or a role with a high degree of customer liaison.

The Role

  • Work as part of a supportive and friendly team to ensure that every customer is given exceptional service.
  • Deal with all enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Liaise with customers by phone and email in a polite and professional manner.
  • Make outbound calls to drive appointments for the dealerships.
  • Develop an excellent knowledge of all brands, offers and additional products offered by Ancaster.
  • Develop a full understanding of customer requirements and provide them with the necessary support and information.
  • Develop an in depth understanding of the Ancaster Sales Process and adhere to all company guidelines.
  • Work with a variety of enquirysystems in order to process customer information.
  • Arrange test drives and appointments for customers.
  • Develop an understanding of new products and market trends.
  • Liaise with the dealership teams.
