Job Overview
Raigins Group, a reputable Facilities Maintenance company, is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaning Operative Successful will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students, teachers, and staff.
Your Key Responibilities:
- Clean and maintain the classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other areas of the school to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors, walls, and ceilings as required.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and other washroom facilities.
- Refill soap dispensers, toilet rolls, and paper towels as required.
- Report any cleaning supply needs to the contract’s manager/supervisor.
- follow cleaning schedules and procedures as set by the company and the school.
- Always adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Maintain good communication with your contracts manager and supervisor.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a school cleaner or similar role is preferred but full training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
As part of the Raigins Group cleaning team, you will receive full training, regular reviews, uniform, pension, 28 days holiday pay (pro rata) and access to our employee 24/7 portal.
All cleaning equipment, machinery and consumables are provided, all you need to do is arrive with a positive attitude and have great attention to detail.
This role is based in a local school, on a regular schedule – this makes it easy for you to plan around and develop a routine that works well for you.
