School Business Manager
(NJC Grade 10 P28 – 32)
£34,723 - £38,296 pro rata
Hours: 37 per week (52 weeks or term-time only + 10 days)

We are seeking an individual who has proven experience and the ability to plan, develop and deliver business services and sound financial planning and budgetary control. In this role you will need to be able to provide leadership along with professional support and advice. This role reports directly to the Headteacher and is part of the Extended Leadership Team at the school.
The School Business Manager promotes the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives. Therefore, you will be responsible for the Financial Resource Management, Administration Management, Management Information, Human Resource Management, Facility & Property Management, Catering and Health & Safety Management of the school
The successful candidate will have integrity and initiative, and will be highly capable, proactive, organised and enthusiastic. They must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to show their own initiative. We hope to find an individual who can embrace our vision and ethos and be able to demonstrate a real passion for ensuring the best in everyone.
Candidates must have previous experience either as a School Business Manager, or general operations or business management and have, or be willing to undertake ILM Level 4 or 5 or equivalent.
