Delivery Driver
Job Description Summary of Position:
Responsible for picking + delivering product to COWS and Anne of Green Gables Chocolates stores as well as other wholesale customers, also running errands (banking) for head office.
Working with other driver(s) to pick and organize each days deliveries.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Picking ice cream orders
- Gathering product from all departments for that days deliveries (cheese, chocolates, oysters, ice cream, retail product)
- Planning of route based on the scheduled delivery and product being delivered
- Ensuring all goods are invoiced and signed for upon delivery
- Keeping vehicles clean and reporting any maintenance needs of vehicles
Qualifications:
- Completion of High School.
- Valid drivers license.
- Professionalism in customer service.
- Experience an asset.
- Air brake license considered an asset
Physical Requirements:
- fast paced environment
- tight deadlines, must be organized
- lifting up to 50 lbs
- great customer service
Other Requirements:
- Driving Record check (abstract)
