School Administrator – GUST Independent School, Ashington, Northumberland
We are an established independent special school, offering both primary and secondary placements. We are currently looking to recruit a full time School Administrator to join our small, dedicated team.

You will be responsible for:
- Overall financial management of income and costs to include payroll.
- Premises management to include contract review and monitoring.
- All aspects of HR – to include safer recruitment (under guidance from external consultants).
- Health and Safety (under guidance from external consultants).
- Meeting all policy requirements and ensuring the school is kept up to date on all relevant legislation (under guidance from external consultants).
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the school’s team.
You will need excellent communication skills.
You should have the ability to manage a varied workload.
You will need to have the ability to manage your time effectively and to use your initiative, be professional with a flexible attitude.
You will be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all pupils within the school.
You will be familiar with the content of the most recent Keeping Children Safe in Education policy (KCSIE).

A competitive salary of circa £23,000 + can be discussed, depending on experience.
