Job Introduction

So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a scheduler to join an experienced team. You would be responsible for delivering a customer focused and proactive appointment service. You will be organised and able to respond quickly to the planning and management of our repair operatives’ daily schedules, working collaboratively with our asset operations and contact centre teams to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of a customer focused repairs and maintenance service.

We are a looking for highly motivated individual who is focused on getting the right outcome, first time for our customers. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for the proactive planning and scheduling of resources, prioritising communication with customers and key stakeholders

What will my working week look like?

You will be homebased, living in Warrington, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses

What will I be responsible for doing?

As part of a small team of Schedulers, you will provide an exceptional resource planning services to our customers, providing them with prompt, professional and accurate information. You will also be handling inbound calls & emails and conducting outbound calls to ensure customers are kept informed about their repair or maintenance request. Ensuring that information is updated on the appropriate systems accurately and in a timely manner.

And what would make me stand out from the crowd?

To be a successful as Scheduler, here at YHG, although not essential, ideally you will have experience working within the social housing sector and if you have….

  • Knowledge/experience of using Dynamic scheduling system FLS & Accuserv are preferred but training can be provided for the right person.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy and reactive workload.
  • Positive resilient and flexible approach
  • Ability to demonstrate reliability, initiative, ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
