About the role

To efficiently process The Dune Group Payroll as part of the Payroll team by providing a seamless service to the business and its stakeholders. And to support the team in all aspects of payroll processing from start to finish using Team Spirit System.


About you

What we need from you:

  • Collate Timesheets and create Summary Import files for Hours, Overtime, Commission
  • Send out reports to Stores for Checking
  • Process management bonus payments in accordance with instructions received from Area Managers
  • Complete all necessary payroll data entry including: New Starters,Leavers
  • Salary changes and processing of necessary back payments
  • Administer amendments forms
  • Tax Code Changes – P45, P46 and P6
  • Set up Student Loan deduction.
  • Statutory Maternity Pay, including Company enhancements.
  • Absence Data Entry and Payments in accordance with Company Policy
  • Process manual calculations and deal with pay queries
  • Administrator sick pay in accordance with company policy and calculate SSP
  • Process and deal with all queries from employees and Store/Concession Managers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Area Managers
  • Any ad hoc duties as required
  • Confidence in using MS Office with proficient daily use of MS Excel

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-starter that can use own initiative.
  • Willingness to learn with a can-do attitude.
  • Relationship-building skills
