Job description
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONSupports BVNA home health services through the accurate scheduling of all disciplines and patients. Scheduling will be done via geographic teams and districts covering 24/7/365. Scheduling duties also include the assignment of BVNA orientees, nursing and therapy students and residents with preceptors on a rotating basis.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly express scheduling requirements, changes and patient needs in a courteous but assertive manner.
- Scheduling experience preferred.
- Computer/software experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in medical terminology or able to successfully pass a medical terminology course within 3 months of hire. - Education and Training:
- High school diploma required.
- Health related degree beyond a CNA is strongly preferred.

- Evidence of dependability in maintaining assigned work schedules.
- Ability to work flexible hours, altering or increasing days for relief purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to distinguish between decisions made independently using a pre-designed plan and decisions made through coordination with a registered clinician or manager.
