Job title - SCCM/ Application Packager
Job Description - Coordinate desktop security updates to ensure compliance while minimizing operational risk and impact
Provide input into strategic direction and provide technical leadership within the App Delivery team
Own and implement process and technical improvements including process documentation and compliance improvements
Create partnerships with Information Security and LOB associates to understand the desktop requirements and challenges
Engage Application Owners/Developers/Vendors as needed to develop appropriate technical solutions
Create application packages in MSI and/or Virtual format
Maintain windows updates using Configuration Manager 2012
Create deployment plans that mitigate risk, minimize conflict, and maximize level of effort
Create partnerships with support teams ensuring they’re aware of desktop changes and have an opportunity to provide feedback
Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment.
Requirements - Bachelors Degree is required.
Minimum 3 years work experience with SMS/SCCM administration including Microsoft patching and software deployments.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in Application Packaging using SCCM.
MSI and EXE application packaging experience using Wise Admin Studio, SMSInstaller, InstallShield etc is a must.
Troubleshooting the packages in case of failure.
Scripting experience VBScript and Powershell.
Experience in Endpoint / Intune preferred.
Applicant must have excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and strong teamwork skills.
Good Communication Skills.
