An exciting opportunity has arisen at London South Bank University (LSBU) for a service Co-ordinator for our Learning Resources Centres/Digital spine learning spaces working primarily at our FE College - South Bank Colleges. You’d be working across campuses at our Gateway College at Clapham Common, a satellite campus in Brixton, and at our brand new London South Bank Technical College in Nine Elms.
Exciting work you will do
The Learning Resources Coordinator will help shape the LRC/Digital spine services to meet the needs of users. They will be supervising and facilitating learning within the centres by providing guidance and support to students and staff in using digital platforms, technologies and physical library resources. They will support students and staff in the development of their learning skills (digital, study, research, information), as well as independent learning. They will also ensure a high quality customer experience is delivered from learning environments that are welcoming and accessible to all customers.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, this post offers an opportunity to work as part of a multi-professional team with colleagues across the Student Journey Directorate and the wider LSBU Group.
The skills and experience you will need to be successful
The post would suit someone with enthusiasm for working with young people in an education or community environment who has strong customer services, managerial, organisational and IT/digital skills.
DBS clearance will be required for this post.

Permanent role, Full-time 35 hours per week
Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home – for this role a substantial proportion of the role will need to take place on site (80%)
