PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER

Location: Primark Glasgow Argyle Street
Salary: £42,242 + up to 10% bonus + medical cover (with 31 days annual leave & pension)
Contract: Full-Time Permanent

The role

As a People & Culture (HR) Manager you’ll lead and develop a small team to oversee all human resources requirements within the store. Areas such as recruitment; employee relations; training & development; payroll budgets; GDPR will become your speciality.

You’ll play a lead role in creating and implementing employee engagement initiatives, continuing to drive a culture that makes Primark such a great place to work.

You also work closely with the Store Manager and the Store Management team to support in their development, making sure our colleagues are always on everyone’s agenda.

About you

This is an excellent challenge for an experienced HR professional from a comparable background with strong technical knowledge providing you with credibility in this specialist role.

CIPD qualified is preferred, but not essential, and if successful support may be offered in achieving this should you wish.

You’ll have strong leadership and coaching skills to drive the team forward and superior influencing and communication skills which will allow you to challenge, engage and inspire at all levels.
