At The Beacon School, we are passionate that the right pastoral care can have significant impact on the outcomes students can achieve. We have an opportunity for someone who puts pastoral care at the heart of their work in education, to join our excellent pastoral team. We are looking for a pastoral leader, to act as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, and co-ordinate the statutory implementation of safeguarding across the school. Whilst also supporting the leadership of two Year Leaders, taking on the role of Deputy Year Leader for two year groups. This involves, supporting the Year Leader with day-to-day activities and mentoring the disadvantaged students for those year groups, ensuring they attend school and make progress.

The Details
Salary: Senior Specialist FTE £30,900pa - £34,000pa (Actual salary £27,946pa - £30,750pa based on 36 hrs per week/41 weeks per year)
Contract: Full-time, permanent and term time plus 2 weeks
Start date: September 2023
