Blume is on a mission to make wellness simple and fun. We use proven superfood ingredients to reinvent familiar drinks you know and love. We are growing fast and are looking to add a Video & Graphic Design Intern to our team. This role is work-from-home remote within Canada and reports to our Social Media Manager.
You will support our marketing team with the creation of brand assets for use across social media and paid ads.
This is a 16 week internship ideally running from July 4th until October 20th, 2023. During this period, you will work full time at 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Work with marketing and social media team on design briefs to support new product launches and brand campaigns
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to edit images and create graphics
- Edit short and long form video content to be used on YouTube and TikTok
- Create GIFs and animations
- Collaborate with Social Media Manager to ensure that all content is consistent and aligned with brand guidelines
- Organize and maintain design assets and working files

- An independent, self-starter who identifies what needs doing and gets it done
- Someone who is well organized, takes accountability, and has a great attention to detail
- Able to execute creative assets with a tight turnaround time
- Up to date on social media and pop culture trends
- A fast learner
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in graphic design and video editing
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and InDesign
- Experience with Canva
- Experience editing video with CapCut and/or Splice
- Proficient with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
- An eye for design, great musicality, and copywriting skills are a must
Job Types: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
