Samsung Support Centre | Belfast

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an allrounder keen enthusiast Front of House & Mobile Device Repair Technicians to work in our repair centre.

There is a part time and a full time position, we are open from Monday to Saturday 9:30am - 6:00pm.

You will need to have some experience in Mobile Phone Repairing field or a similar related field, however full training is available for the right candidates.

As a Front of House Sales and Mobile Device Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the talking to customers, quoting repairs, testing, and diagnosis of electronic devices to an exacting standard. You will be working in the repair centre meeting level 1 and level 2 standards to include the replacement of components within smart phones, tablets and wearables.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a great eye for detail and the desire to meet high standards of work.

Purpose of the job

Responsible for the dealing with customers at Front of House desk, testing, diagnosis and repair of a daily quota of electronic devices to an exacting standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Repairs to include the replacement of mechanical components on electronic devices.

2. Able to use designated repair tools and follow strict guidelines on processes.

3. Must be able to hit strict KPI’s and TAT’s while maintaining a high quality standard.

4. Accurately record all work completed within internal systems using manual processes and scanning equipment.

5. Be responsible and take ownership for all devices allocated to you showing an understanding of customer and business needs.

6. Work with skill and care to reduce parts failure and therefore lower financial impact.

7. Feedback to your Team Leader any issues or delays resulting in bottlenecks which may affect customer SLA’s

8. Following best practice stock handling processes at all times and maintaining stock integrity.

9. Feedback to Team Leaders any issues or delays to work so they can be resolved and the customer’s expectation managed.

10. Respects business and Customer confidentiality.

11. General housekeeping in Repair Centre to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.

12. Must be flexible with overtime when and if required.

13. Contribute to a safe working environment and raise health and safety concerns in a timely manner.

14. Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times.

15. Speaking with customer on Front of House Desk.

16. Quote customers and guide with the repair process.
