About the role:
We are looking to appoint an Admissions Officers join the UK Admissions team within Corporate Marketing. This position will play a vital role in processing applications received for a range of courses, supporting applicants through the admissions process, to achieve our recruitment ambitions. Working in the work based learning team supporting applicants, employers and Faculty for applicants to our degree apprenticeship, distance learning and continuing professional development courses.
Your role will be to:
- Manage applications, including delegated decision making, for an agreed range of courses.
- Provide expert guidance on admissions processes to applicants, academic colleagues, enquirers and advisors offering an excellent customer service.
- Support the Admissions Manager with the development and delivery of processes and engagement plans.
We are looking for an experienced education administrator who has excellent attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and make decisions. Experience of working within Admissions is highly desirable alongside a knowledge of UK and international qualifications. Experience of admissions systems, such as UCAS, would be welcomed. Educated to at least degree standard.
Like much of ARU, Corporate Marketing including Admissions works on an agile basis with a mixture of office and home-based working
