SALESFORCE DEVELOPER

Responsible to: CRM Development Lead, Technology

Location National Tennis Centre: 100 Priory Lane, Roehampton, London SW15 5JQ

Salary: up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience

About the role

The Salesforce Developer is part of the Technology Team which works to deliver excellent standards of customer service, responding quickly and effectively with true personal ownership and responsibility.

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to provide ongoing development and integrating customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also facilitate and help to design Salesforce applications for our business transformation project from Siebel to Salesforce.

The role will be part of a team of salesforce and MuleSoft developers enabling the LTA to undergo a full Digital Transformation as part of our vision to Open Tennis Up. The Salesforce platform is a key enabler to this vision.

Reporting to the CRM Development Lead, the Salesforce Developer works closely with the business, technology, and project teams to deliver and maintain new and enhanced Salesforce functionality, enabling delivery of the LTA strategy.

The role requires a candidate with a pro-active approach and wide experience and understanding of different Salesforce implementations.

Key Accountabilities

Design & Development

  • Depending on the size of each project, the role will cover a broad range of responsibilities such as technical and solution architecture design, development, prototyping, and testing.
  • Be involved in Salesforce design, working cross-functionally with other LTA teams including Competitions, Communications, Coaching, Customer Services and Membership.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, validation rules, custom workflows, and processes.
  • Creating and modifying reports and dashboards.
  • Design and implement ongoing Data Migrations through to business as usual.
  • Integration from legacy system to Salesforce.
  • Requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
  • Assist with the implementation of business process into Salesforce to improve efficiencies.
  • Agile accelerator user stories must be updated and status accurate according to relevant guidelines.
  • Ensuring best practice system design principles.
  • Monitoring the overall health of their Salesforce environment.

Person Specification

Previous Experience:

  • One or more Salesforce technical certifications such as Platform Developer or certifications from the architect track such as Certified Application/Systems/Technical Architect
  • In-depth knowledge of overall Salesforce ecosystem and solution components including Sales cloud, Service cloud, & AppExchange apps.
  • Experience working with both SQL and SOQL.
  • Understanding of the Salesforce application, data flows, business processes, security and compliance processes, and overall configuration.
  • Commercial experience in supporting a team using Salesforce
  • Certifications: Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant (optional), Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant (optional), Salesforce administrator.
  • Hands on configuration and customisation- process builder, custom objects, dashboards, validation rules.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Experience of working with Lightning experience and Lightning components.
  • Familiar with Apex, Visualforce page, Lightning components, Integration based work packages.
  • Experience in conceptualizing complex solutions using Salesforce platform and providing solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in business analysis, solution mapping/design, configuration implementation, validation, and deployment as part of Salesforce engagement.
  • Experienced in end-to-end implementation of Salesforce CRM capabilities including Sales and Service clouds.
  • Good to have integration and data migration experience
  • Troubleshooting implementation issues and developing test classes.
  • Exposure in deployment activities and CI/CD implementation.
  • Conforming to Software Development Life Cycle processes and Force.com configuration best practices during implementation.

Knowledge, Training & Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)Essential
  • Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant (optional), Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant (optional).
