Job description

  • Trouble shooting and liaising with key internal stakeholders to improve the overall customer experience and Qantas’ performance.
  • Permanent full time London based opportunity. Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week spent in the London office.

As a Sales Support Adviser you will be part of our offshore based sales team where you will be responsible for supporting the Qantas Regional Leadership and local Sales teams by providing guidance, advice and technical support as required. You will utilise exceptional communication skills to provide advice on Qantas product, services, policies, and procedures and, also manage escalations from third party GSA’s, our Qantas Agency Connect Team (QAC) and problem-solve customer complaints.
You’ll have –
  • Expertise in Customer Care/Service
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agency sales and support processes
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar coordination role
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication and time management skills
  • Certificate IV in Travel and Tourism or similar (desirable)
  • Statement in IATA Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Fares and Ticketing (desirable)
  • Expertise in Amadeus workflows and process application (desirable)
  • Knowledge of EU/UK261 and other relevant legislation (desirable)
  • Experience in coordinating key activities with a vendor and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse problem and instigate an action plan to obtain a desired outcome.
  • Experience working in an agile team environment and in cross-functional agile teams.
