Job Description:
As our Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive new business through cold outreach and establish strong relationships with potential clients. You will be the face of our company, and your ability to effectively communicate our value proposition will be crucial to our continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Research potential targets, create contact lists.
- Conduct cold outreach to potential clients, using various methods such as phone calls, emails, and social media
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by understanding clients' needs and aligning them with our services
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to showcase our capabilities and services
- Collaborate with the Upspark Digital team to develop tailored proposals and strategies
- Close deals and reach agreed-upon sales targets
- Provide regular updates on your sales activities and maintain accurate records in our CRM system
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand your network and represent Upspark Digital

Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales
- Experience or interest within one or more of these industries is desirable: interior design, furniture retail, fireplace industry or the CGI visualisation industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust
- A results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Knowledge of CRM systems and various sales outreach tools
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Compensation:
Presently, this is a commission-based position, offering an attractive percentage of the profit generated from closed deals. This allows for uncapped earning potential based on your success in securing new business.
Based on our sales targets, you would likely be earning between £5000-£6000 a month initially, with potential to grew quickly.
However, we realise that for some people the stability of a base salary would be more attractive and therefore are happy to discuss this once your sales rhythm has been established over the first few months.
Up to now, we have grown through word of mouth but we are now looking to grow our sales and expand rapidly.
You would be the first sales hire in the organisation so there is great potential to grow and make a big impact within the company.
Working hours:
Working hours can be flexible as long as they coincide with the hours that our prospects will be available for outreach, and meet the minimum required to reach sales targets.
