Job description
We are recruiting for a new role of sales team support, someone who will work out of our Nottingham branch to support the nationwide sales team on a day-to-day basis.
You will be responsible for;
- purchasing and goods receipting of new trucks, inclusive of dealing with the suppliers on lead times and preparation jobs
- purchasing and goods receipting of attachments (Control systems, Batteries, Chargers, Cabs, Clamps, Scales, Transport etc.) and liaising with the truck suppliers for fitting/lead times
- liaising with the purchase ledger team and suppliers on any purchase invoicing queries
- contract hire sales processing of documents directly with the finance company, inclusive of maintenance agreements
- long term hire processing of the in-house fleet, inclusive of transport costs, preparation jobs and liaising with the respective branches
- out-right purchasing sales of equipment, inclusive of access, ancillaries, used machines, attachments, preparation for sale jobs, transport costs and liaising with the respective branches
- creation of customer monthly and quarterly KPI, spend and utilisation reporting using Excel and a Business Intelligence suite
- extension or termination for the end of term finance agreements, inclusive of purchasing back of residual value equipment
- off-hiring of long-term hire equipment, inclusive of transport costs and liaising with the respective branches
- closing down of contracts, equipment, sites and customer accounts
- creation of the monthly contract renewals report from the finance companies and our ERP system
- maintaining the monthly returns on-going deals report in Excel
- assist the sales managers with their individual monthly returns’ reports
- checking of the sales pack from the managers, including copies of quotes, Excel cost workings, site surveys, order confirmations, finance acceptance documents
- ad hoc customer and management reporting with Excel and a Business Intelligence suite
- assistance with month end processing and monthly management reporting
- creation of system data (makes and models, labour profiles, job inspections, holidays)
- data cleansing of job stock issues, goods receipt notes, returns notes, transport notes, stock adjustments, maintenance contacts, part numbers, equipment numbers, customers, suppliers
- branch support with minor system queries and basic system training.
