Job description
We are a well established, busy, family run business looking to expand our team with enthusiastic, compassionate and hard working individuals. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, exercising, health checks and more. The ideal applicant would have had previous experience working in a kennel and cattery environment and/or have, or be working towards, a Level 3 qualification in Animal Care. This is a full time position, all of our staff are required to work weekends and bank holidays, including Christmas and New Years on a rota system.
You must be confident working with all sizes of dogs and cats, physically fit and able to work in all weather, a strong team member, passionate about dogs and cats, and have a basic understanding of animal behavior.
Other Relevant Information:
- The day begins at 8AM and ends at 5.30PM.
- Lunch is between 12PM-1PM.
- All staff are required to wear plain black, unbranded clothing.
- This is a physically demanding role so the candidate must be physically fit as you will be on your feet most of the day.
- Double pay on Bank Holidays.
- Salary is between £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.
