As they expand into more cities and open additional stores throughout the UK, they are on the lookout for a Senior Sales Consultant to join their team in Northampton on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will create sales of our client’s furniture to retail customers at the store in Northampton.
Specifically, you will assist the Store Manager to achieve maximum sales and profitability whilst ensuring excellent customer service is delivered. You will identify customers’ needs, convey features and benefits of products and present merchandise to the highest standard possible.
You will also develop, train and motivate team members, ensuring all duties are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
Additionally, you will:
- Assist with the display of any new ranges or reorganisation of the shopfloor
- Maintain customer service records
- Ensure the warehouse is kept to the highest possible standard
- Assist with listing and checking at stocktaking
- Manage team rotas and maintain payroll, sickness and holiday records
About You
To be considered as a Senior Sales Consultant, you will need:
- Experience working in a direct sales environment
- Experience managing a team
- Excellent communication skills
- At a minimum, five GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above including Maths and English
