Job description
We are looking for a Sports Shop Supervisor to run the day-to-day of our sports department. You must be knowledgeable and experienced in running and sports.
The candidate must be happy to regularly work on weekends and able to commute to Windsor (not by car ideally because parking in Windsor is very expensive).

Must have (requirements)…
- High level of knowledge and experience in running and/or sports.
- Good people skills; you don’t have to have worked in a shop before but you do have to be happy regularly starting up conversation with customers.
- Happy to work every Saturday (and have one day off in the week).
- Excellent time-keeping and organisation skills.
Would be good to have (non-essential)…
- Interest and knowledge in running shoes and running shoe brands.
- Retail experience, particularly in a sports environment.
- Knowledge and interest in nutrition, physiology, physiotherapy or anything in the health and fitness arena.
- Knowledge of social media and a willingness to help grow our online presence.
What would your job be…
- Sales. Most of the time you will be selling to customers, explaining products and helping them find the perfect equipment for them or their loved ones.
- Stock management and merchandising. Processing deliveries, pricing, displaying, checking what is selling well and helping make the shop look beautiful!
- Gait analysis. A key service we will be providing is gait analysis. Customers will be invited to use our in-store gait analysis equipment. We use the information gathered to help pick the perfect shoe(s) for them. This will be a regular part of your job.
- Staff management: rotas, reviews, holiday schedules.
