Job description
Revolutionworks is now entering a new, exciting, stage of its development and requires an energetic and engaged individual to assist in taking it forward to the next level. After 2 years of development and market research we are now ready to fully promote our all-in-one solar powered propulsion system for narrowboats. We have named this NoPuttPutt. Investment has been obtained in support of this new product and we are seeking to recruit core staff to establish it as a market leader.
We are a small team of three and so the position needs an individual who is self motivated and able to take the initiative to provide effective sales and marketing. The role will include the following:
Marketing
- Contact relevant outlets and promote NoPuttPutt. This will include writing and sending out press releases and possibly short articles.
- Writing blogposts for posting on our website
- Preparing/obtaining videos for posting on our website.
- Considering whether NoPuttPutt is suitable for social media promotion, and if so what is the most (cost) effective way of doing this.
Sales
- Contact Boat Builders and promote NPP
- Visit boat builders with a demonstration display (Usually with our engineer)
- Get boat builders to come see our demonstration narrowboat on Bristol Harbour and take them on a demonstration trip. (Usually with our engineer)
Customer care
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries about NoPuttPutt. Either new enquiries or from existing customers.

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
