Position Overview:

Reporting to the Managing Vice President of Distribution, you will take ownership of developing our business in the following territories: Asia and Global VOD (Excluding North America).


You will grow our revenue by successfully licensing our North American & European TV Movies and TV series to TV broadcasters and VOD platforms.


Main Responsibilities:

  • License our content to the broadcasters and VOD platforms
  • Build longstanding relationships with said broadcasters/platforms
  • Strategically window TV rights in the most profitable way
  • Be in regular contact with the broadcasters, attend key TV markets, such as MIPCOM & ATF plus regular individual trips to territories to meet clients locally
  • Research and keep ahead of the fast-changing TV landscape, using industry e-zines, news articles, contacts in your network etc. to be able to: Identify and target suitable broadcast partners for our content (keeping ahead of channel launches, new slots, new media etc.)
  • Maintain a precise record of your broadcasters’ slots/schedules/target demographic/brand/key competition, using our CRM system
  • Achieve annual sales targets
  • Provide territory forecasts
  • Weekly report on deal cycle status and potential clients

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have some or all the following:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • At least 2 years experience in a relevant media role (ideally sales or sales support)
  • A driven and proactive personality – an ability to elicit responses from international, busy broadcasters
  • Ability to liaise easily with international internal departments and worldwide buyers
  • Efficiency and organisation - managing your own workday and travel, plus recording information
  • Ability to work through complex rights
  • Available to travel internationally at short notice
  • Knowledge of language preferred, but not essential
