This is an hybrid sales position (field-based and remote/office-based) involving the sales and service of mobile medical exams to the insurance industry. The sales representative will introduce customers to ExamOne service and set up new customers with proper materials. The sales representative functions as a liaison between customers and the ExamOne Branch.
The territory encompasses Southern California (Rancho Cucamonga/Orange/San Bernardino. CA).
- Introduce customers to ExamOne and set up new customers with proper materials.
- Sales support to ExamOne customers under the direction of the ExamOne management staff.
- Develop new relationships with prospective customers.
- Maintain positive relationships with existing customer base.
- Become an active member in local, county and state insurance organizations including but not limited to attending monthly meetings, sponsorship of approved events, exhibiting at trade shows, and staffing the ExamOne booth as requested by management.
- Provide operational assistance when necessary to maintain business continuity.
- Submit all required reports in a complete and timely manner.
- Maintain a positive, professional relationship with all co-workers, customers, affiliates and competitors.
- Represent ExamOne with honesty, integrity at all times and in accordance with corporate policy.
SALES SUPPORT INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
- Initial contacts based on referrals and cold call activity.
- Answering questions from potential customers regarding ExamOne, services, etc.
- Presenting ExamOne service information.
SETTING UP INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
- The sales representative will gather information necessary to set up an account, including but not limited to:
- Customer/agency name, address, phone
- Insurance companies they write for
- Contact names.
- Company requirements The insurance sales representative will:
- Ensure that all necessary information concerning the customer account is transmitted to the appropriate office personnel in a timely manner.
- Follow-up to ensure information is in place to provide adequate service to account.
MARKETING INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
- The insurance sales representative will provide marketing support to customers in order to assure a successful working relationship.
- Provide training for customers and staff to ensure proper handling of business.
- Answer any questions from account staff.
- Be proactive to account needs; be a creative problem-solver.
- Provide answers to questions raised by individual agents or staff researching questions if necessary.
- Follow-up with accounts to ensure questions have been answered satisfactorily and/or problems resolved.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.
- Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Solid PC skills including Microsoft Software.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
The base salary range for this position is $55,000-$63,000, plus an uncapped sales incentive plan. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
